This music video is rather different from the previous narrative style @440's videos. It shows both the band in full-on performance mode and the original footage from the motion picture showing a race car action sequence. The video was directed by Hutch and it was the third @440 video to be edited by Tony Kearns.

"Heart Go Boom" is a track that lulls you into a lazy afternoon of reggae dub only to assault with a drum'n'bass explosion complete with gunshots, all vividly interpreted by controversial director Jason Smith in the spaghetti western genre video. The action of the video is a kind of continuation of "Stop The Rock" video and the element that connects these two clips is a mysterious vial with which the pit bull in "Stop The Rock" was running away.
The video was filmed in the South Central and warehouse districts of Los Angeles. Lead roles go to King - an impressive American pit bull, Karl Leiker - an old friend of the band, and Mary Mary playing himself and alter-ego FBI agent.
The treatment of the video centres on the fact that it is impossible to stop a pit bull on a mission. Pit bulls are now banned in the UK and the breed is gradually dying out. King, a magnificent American Red, epitomises the finest of the breed.
Lost In Space video shows both the original footage from the motion picture and the members of the band playing in studio and walking together like astronauts. That studio band performance was shot in New York by Imaginary Forces' Kurt Mattila.
It's done in a dynamic computerised science-fiction style. Everything "twinkles" and from time to time different inscriptions go through the screen.
The videoclip's topic is obviously football. It features Jarre and the trio of Apollo 440 walking around, sitting in the stadium, playing football and also lots of other people on the streets of Liverpool, London, Paris and Japan overtaken by the World Cup's fever.
Raw Power is a music video that shows the scenes more or less connected with older sports cars races. Similary to 2 previous videoclips from Electro Glide In Blue album, it was directed by James Brown.
That's why it's similar in style and in photography to Krupa and Ain't Talkin' 'bout Dub. The element that connects all 3 videoclips is the characteristic pocket watch with a chain.
The video was filmed on the F1 track at Monza, Italy and features rare multi-million pound Classic Ferraris.
This music video was filmed in Dominican Republic. It shows a young man running away through a village.
Beside that it shows the life of people of that island country, which being a country similar to Jamaica is undoubtedly connected with dub as a style. That's what @440 told to explain the word dub: "Dub is a style in music, in attitude, in life. It originates in Jamaica where they would dub up a version of a record - loads of echo, delays, shifting of beats and instrumental voices. It's a blend a mish-mash, a street style not taking itself too seriously."
Krupa is probably the only music video of Apollo 440, that not even once shows the members of the band. Instead of that it's a short "documentary" about the subway and the street life in New York. Beside pictures showing the city, we can see a jazz band playing...the Krupa tune.
The music video shows the band playing inside a gothic church. Such elements as dancing skeletons and Noko holding a human skull in hand like Hamlet emphasize gothic roots of the original version of (Don't Fear) The Reaper by Blue Oyster Cult.
The video was filmed inside a gothic London church.
Liquid Cool was filmed in disused Victorian Mental Asylum north of London. The members of the band walk along long corridors and then they are "operated" by the staff.
Roses frozen in liquid nitrogen that are breaking while falling down to the ground refer to the track's topic - cryonics.
From time to time inscriptions appear on the screen, among others "Immortality, Inc. wants you alive" and "Big sexy perfect future for every body".
The music video shows the band perform on a huge 50'x70' American flag made for the video. Beside that from time to time "pictures from the existence of America" appear along with the inscriptions - the pieces of the track's lyrics coming from Jean Baudrillard's esey "Astral America".
The band kept their flag in a garbage bag and it resurfaced in 2000 for the Charlie's Angels video.
Blackout means an early underground if we talk about Apollo 440's history. The same thing is with the videoclip. It shows the first lineup of the band playing in the studio.
It was filmed at Marcus Studios in London, where they had also recorded the song (and all the other early stuff as far as I know) (Thanks to info from Joerg Fitzner).
